How Ratings Work
Every player starts at 1500. Win games and your rating climbs; lose games and it dips.
The number next to your rating is your RD (rating deviation). It shows how confident the system is in your rating. Lower RD means more confident.
New players have RD around 350 and move a lot in their first few games. As you play more, RD shrinks and your rating gets steadier.
Beating someone way above you is a bigger jump than beating someone at your level. Blowouts count for more than nail-biters.
One rating per name across the league app and pickup events. Subs do not earn rating changes.
